Featured on…

Our florist, Rose Petals and Lace, featured our wedding on their site. :)

They were a pleasure to work with and if you’re looking for amazing flowers, contact them. They are awesome.

Thanks Linda and Jill!

Thank you…

Thank you AisleDash for featuring me on your blog. I loved everything about wedding planning and would do it all over again…for someone else of course. :)

Thanks again.

- Wouldn’t you love to be HER bridesmaid?

- Instead of a ring-bearer, a banner-bearer?

We’ve already received proofs of our professional wedding photographs. Here are some that we love.

They were taken by Artist European Photography. If you are a bride or groom looking for a photographer and you live in the NY/NJ area, you must contact them. They are amazing.

So it’s been a while since I’ve been able to write. First off, I’d like to thank Pearls of Wisdom for featuring my banner on her blog. Thanks. :) I really enjoy making them for brides, but I’ve been so busy with wedding plans, a new house and a new puppy, that I’ve had to put them on hold for now.

Thanks! :)

Bridal Shower

My bridal shower was this weekend and it was just perfect. I love what my family and friends did for us. It was more than I could have ever imagined. :)

I’ll post more pics when I get them.

Hi there, I finally found my red shoes! I wasn’t even looking. My mom, aunt and sister were in this weekend for my bridal shower and we went to DSW Shoes. My aunt said she wanted to get some shoes before they went back to Miami. My sister and I walked around and there they were!

I also found these to wear when my feet just can’t take it anymore…

Last week I went to David’s Bridal looking for something for Keira to wear on the day of the wedding. I saw some cute headpieces, and then I saw this one. It’s perfect.

I had my hair trial for the wedding on March 7th. Michelle is so sweet and she did such a great job on my hair. I highly recommend her.

Here is a picture that one of my customers sent me of their ring bearer walking down the aisle with the banner I made for them.

Isn’t he the cutest! Congrats to you and your daughter Louise. Wishing you all the best!

I was going to print the invites myself. I had the design and card stock all ready to go when I found this site called Pose Prints. OMG, I was in love. :) They were a little more than I was going to spend before, but I just had to have them.

Are these the cutest things or what?! You can customize the characters to look like you!

Went really well. I got to the bridal salon a little early so I started looking for red shoes. No luck. I was thinking of wearing my ivory shoes for the ceremony and then switching to red shoes for the reception, but they have to be the same height as my ivory shoes which is 2 3/4″. Not easy to find. Most heels are 3″ or more. Ugg. We’ll see. I guess I might just leave the ivory shoes. They’re really pretty and I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on another pair of shoes. Anyway, I got to the bridal salon and they had one of the bridesmaid dresses there for me to see along with the flower girl dress. I love how the bridesmaid dress looks, but I’m not crazy about the sash on the flower girl dress. The dress is adorable in itself, but up against the bridesmaid dress, the sash is a little on the pink side. Could have been the lighting…not sure, but in any case I wasn’t thrilled with it. The flower girl doesn’t have to match the bridesmaids anyway…so no big deal I guess. I think I’m being a little neurotic at this point. LOL I’m going with my girls on March 29 for their fitting, so I’ll see what they think then.

I went to the back where the seamstress works and put my dress on. It felt so good putting it on. :) Amanda (my seamstress) had to pin almost the entire dress because I’ve lost weight which is a good thing, but now it’s going to be more expensive for me. I’m also making the neckline into a sweetheart. I think that’ll be a little more flattering on me. The train is a chapel train so the bussel is pretty easy. It’s just one snap and it’s going to look sooooo pretty. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to see it on April 7th. I’m going to bring my jewelry and hair pin then to see how it looks all pulled together.

She worked so quick. I was out of there within 45 minutes. She pinned in super speed. :)

So we met with The Buttonwood on Saturday and finalized our menu and went over some other details. They are not supplying us with centerpieces (which they thought they were) so we’re getting a credit which we’re using on an ice sculpture which I’m happy about since I wanted one anyway. :) We went over where our place cards would go and they’re also supplying us with an easel for our engagement portrait. I’m so excited. I can’t believe we’re 10 weeks away! I’m picking up my shoes tonight and I picked up my hair comb this weekend and I also made our card box. I’ll post pics tonight.

Oh, and we got six rsvps today! Woohoo!

Invites ready to go!

Here they are, all stamped and ready to go. They’ll be going out Thursday. I can’t wait to start getting RSVPs in the mail. Everyone says that’s the most exciting part. heehee!

I have my hair trial scheduled for March 7th w/ Michelle Lo Conte. I’ve heard such great things about her and I can’t wait to see what she can do. :) I should have my hair comb soon…I better! I need it for the trial. My mom is still working my veil so I won’t have that, but I don’t really need it I guess.

So excited! Invitations are finally going out. I’m going to the post office tomorrow to buy stamps for the actual invites and for the rsvp cards. Heehee. I’m so gitty it’s disgusting. LOL

I got my mom’s handkerchief in the mail today and it’s just perfect. I almost cried. I hope she loves it as much as I do. :)

My Something Blue

I just got a picture of my dress label from The Gartermaker. I LOVE it and I can’t wait to get it. :)

It’s perfect.

I absolutely LOVE it. It’s just what we wanted. Our photographers, Artist European Photography, couldn’t have captured it better. It just says so much doesn’t it? I can’t wait to see it in person and have it displayed at our wedding.

Hanky

I got a handkerchief for my mom for the day of our wedding. I ordered it from Felicia’s Fancies. I think it’s a nice keepsake. :)

Bouquet Memory Frame

I am going to make a memorial candle for my dad to display at the reception, but I wanted something else too so I ordered a frame to attach to my bouquet so he can be with me all day.
